Core jobs

• Receive factory / in-transit shipments into branch stock
• Support delivery picking (via holds and run stops)
• Inter-branch transfers when requested

Main menu

Usually no access to: Orders payment, Finance reconcile, Partner payouts.

Receiving workflow

1. Receiving → list in-transit batches for your branch.
2. Open batch → confirm received quantities.
3. System moves inventory from on_way → on_hand (per business rules).
4. If shortage/damage → record exception (follow branch SOP).

Transfers

1. Transfers → create or approve request (per policy).
2. Ship from sending branch → receive at destination.
3. Audit trail stored on transfer record.

With delivery team

• Installers use mobile delivery for events; warehouse does not replace scanning picks unless your SOP says so.
• CSR adds orders to delivery runs; warehouse prepares before run date.
